Plan B and the dreams that concern it.

Daydreaming is one of my #1 hobbies. Sometimes I have to rewind movies because I will start to drift into a thought and miss a key part. In my latest daydreams, I've been picturing my own apartment and I'm finally settled in Portland. I will have a dining room table adorned with a bowl of lemons. I will sip my hot water and lemon in the morning and look out of my window with my dog at my feet. I will go for a walk downtown and get coffee then go to a used bookstore to look for a new obsession I can't put down. I will restart my record collection and finally get a record player so I can listen to the records I've had for years that I haven't even listened to yet. I will make new friends and have them over for yummy martinis and a game of homemade mad lib. I will go to the Opera. I will start cooking again. I will see my family more now that I live closer with no more holidays missing them all. I will enjoy the rain because I always have. I will spend summers exploring the best places to swim. I will go down to the water regularly, just to smell the air and clear my head. I will go to all of the museums within the first month. I will meet someone great that understands my quirkiness and sense of humor (as silly as it is) and has goals and daydreams too. I will make French pressed coffee at dusk and sit on a stoop outside of my new place watching the sun go down, daydreaming about what, to dream of next.
UPDATE: Since i'm moving with no furniture or much else, I laughed when I looked around my house at what my "prized possessions" are that I absolutely MUST bring. Haha.
My record stand...

My french press...

My Butter Mill...this thing is so kick ass. It fits an entire stick of butter, then you twist the bottom and it spits out the perfect thin slice of butter that melts instantly on your bread. Voila!

My ukulele...

Annnnnd...My closet. This is going to be my only challenge. I have to get rid of A LOT. *frown*

The good thing is that at least I know now how easy it is to get rid of things. I used to get so attatched. Now I can just drop it and go. What a load off!
